How do I disconnect on LinkedIn?

by julie on July 22, 2015

Social media buzz wordsWho’d want to? Why would you want to? Connections are LinkedIn’s lifeblood. But in these days of the internet troll and, frankly, some people who are just downright rude, sometimes you might want to. How to do it however, is not always obvious to the naked eye.

To disconnect, simply go to your connections and choose the more option below the detail.

If the offender isn’t a connection, but merely a follower you can still block them if you don’t want them to know what you’re doing. From Profile>Your Updates you can view the full list of your followers. By clicking in your list to visit the follower’s profile, from the drop-down menu there you can choose to block or report that person.
